Families

Make a memory with your children
Spend some time to show you care
Toys and trinkets can’t replace those
Precious moments that you share.

Money doesn’t buy real pleasure
It doesn’t matter where you live
Children need your own attention
Something only you can give.

Childhood days pass all too quickly
Happy memories are so few
Plan to do that something speical
Take the time to go and do.

Make a memory with your children
Take the time in busy days
Have some fun while they are growing
Show your love in gentle ways.

family

Families. Some are big. Some are small. Some are blended. Some include fur-kids. Whatever your family looks like, it is important to document it and cherish it.

Our family sessions are great fun! No stuffiness here. Just lots of laughs and great memories. All family sessions include a free toy for the kids from our pirate treasure chest.

In 2010, we are booking a limited number of family sessions at the location of your choice (price varies depending on distance, see investment page for further details). Do you have a favourite family picnic spot? Choose a place that has meaning to you and your family. Think about where your portrait will be displayed in your house. Do you have formal furniture and want a very elegent look for your photo? Or do you have a country theme which would work well with bush/paddock scenes? Modern home? An urban scene might suit you better. If you are stuck for ideas, just ask.

To make use of the best light, sessions are usually scheduled either in the morning or the afternoon. If it is raining or sweltering hot, we will have to reschedule your session.

A few tips for parents of young children:

- before the photo session, tell your child how much fun you’ll have. Don’t emphasise the photography, talk more about getting to play somewhere new, meeting new friends, etc.

- if your child is ill, please call me beforehand to reschedule. Sick kids need to be at home resting, not having their portrait taken.

- at the start of the session we’ll just have a quick chat and the kids can run around and get used to the area and me. We’ll take our time, there’s no rush.

- during the photo session PLEASE don’t threaten or yell at your kids. It’s totally OK if they run around a bit. Kids are kids. I’ve got one and I don’t expect perfection.
