Our pricing is divided into two separate areas, the creation fee and the product. There are no minimum purchases required and no contrictive packages. We want you to invest in what you truly love, and what will bring your home to life. We don’t want you to pay money for portraits that will sit in a box under your bed going mouldy. Choose a portrait you are proud of, will lovingly display, and that will bring your joy every time you walk past it.

 

Creation of your Portraits

No two families are alike, so no two portrait sessions are alike. We pride ourselves in custom designing your portrait experience especially for you. When you first enquire about a portrait, we will arrange a time to chat about your ideas (either in your home, at a local coffee shop, or over the phone). You can tell us what you goals are for the session, what you hope to do with the finished portraits, and what style(s) you like. We will discuss possible locations and clothing choices to reflect your desires. We understand that photography can be a very personal and subjective art form, and as such, this consultation is completely obligation free.

The actual portrait taking session will be at the location of your choice, either in the morning or the afternoon.  If you have young children, your session should be scheduled at a time that they are at their best – usually mornings. Some people have a special place that they love to go for picnics, or somewhere that is significant to them. If that sounds like you, having a portrait taken in that special place will bring a lot of significance to your final portraits. If you don’t have any ideas, we can make suggestions based on your chosen style. A studio setting is also available if you prefer this (please add $80 extra to the creative fee for studio hire). The portrait session is not limited in time, although most people find that 1-2 hours is sufficient.

After the portraits have been captured, we will arrange a time within a week or two to view your portraits. This can be anywhere, but most people prefer an evening in the comfort of their own home, after the kids have gone to bed.

All sessions – the portrait design, portrait taking and portrait viewing – must be within 25 km of Jerrabomberra otherwise additional fees are payable.

 

The creation fee includes:

- portrait design consultation, either in your home, via e-mail or over the phone – the choice is yours!

- custom portrait session in your choice of location

- your family captured by one professional photographer and one photography assistant

- unlimited number of people - bring along the grandparents, cousins, or even your dog/horse/guinea pig!

- a small toy for each child from our pirate treasure chest

- clothing changes at no extra cost! Get several different “looks” in the same session.

- exclusive viewing of your portraits in the comfort of your own home or other location of your choice

All prices are valid for local area travel only (within 25km of Jerrabomberra). For areas beyond this, please contact me for a quote. I love desination portrait work and will strive to give you a great price!

 

For the Mantle

Desk Portraits are a perfect size for putting on your desk at work, the mantlepiece at home, or giving to Grandparents as gifts.

5×7 inches or smaller $45

For the Wall

Wall Portraits are perfect for framing and putting on the wall. More than just a photo, they are works of art featuring the most important people in your life!

When considering a single large image for the wall, take into account the available space. To create a stunning feature, the image (including the mat and frame if used) should take up at minimum one third to one half  of the wall width available. The higher the ceiling, the larger the print can be. In general, the smallest size we recommend for a single image on the wall is 20 inches. The more popular sizes are 24″ and 30″. Personally, I have a 45″ canvas hanging above my bed, which I adore.

However instead of one large image, some clients prefer to have a collection of images grouped together on the wall. These can either be framed individually, or together in the same frame.

Pricing for wall portraits is based on the length of the longest side of the image. They are available in standard lustre or metallic (at no extra charge!).

For the Modern House

Do you prefer a more modern look, or don’t want to spend extra on custom framing? Canvas portraits are perfect for you! Canvas portraits come printed, wrapped around a hardwood frame, protective UV coated, and ready to hang on your wall. Canvas is available on on any wall portrait 14″ or larger, just double the price listed above.

For the Full House

Is your home already full of photos and you don’t have room for anything else on your wall? Do you live in a rented apartment and aren’t allowed to hang new frames? Then our portfolio collections or albums might suit you best.

5×7 Portrait Collection ($770) – our newest product is simply stunning! It contains 15 5×7 inch portraits, each matted in an 8×10 inch mount, ready for display in your home or office. The portrait collection is housed in a gorgeous canvas covered box, which can be designed to your exact requirements, using any number of images from your session. Completed with a handcrafted wooden easel for display, your portrait collection is sure to become an heirloom.

8×10 Portrait Collection ($1375) – the same as above, expect that it contains larger 8×10 sized portraits matted to 11×14. These boxes are simply stunning!!

Albums – Custom designed albums are available in a range of sizes and options starting from $750.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, cheque or bank deposit. We also have payment plans available so you can evenly spread your payments over a period of 6 months (this option attracts a small $10 administration fee).

Our Guarantee

We want you to LOVE your portraits. When you walk past them hanging on the wall, they should bring a smile to your face. All portraits we produce are lovingly retouched, enhanced and printed on the highest quality photographic paper by one of the world’s top laboratories. Our quality assurance and attention to detail means that your portrait will last for generations. If you are not 100% satisfied with your investment, for whatever reason, we will do whatever we can to make it right – reshoot, reprint or refund your money. No Gimmicks. No catches. We are not happy unless you are.
